What if he doesn't consent?

Why does he need to photograph the meter?
The distance driven backs up that day's work — more accurate for him than a time-only record. The second photo, at clock-out, keeps the driving after he leaves the car from being pinned on him. And it's he who sets the number, not the app: reading it off the photo is only a draft — he sees it and confirms it, last. No pay moves on a number the machine decided on its own.
